Abstract

This paper presents a holistic legal analysis of Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL). It explores the situation prior to the advent of TKDL, the need for such framework, its impact, etc. It analyses how TKDL impacts the existing Indian and International legal framework in safeguarding biopiracy at global level and vice versa. It then proceeds to provide recommendations considering the global situations and paradigms.
