Abstract

The Judiciary in India has come out as the guardian and custodian of the Indian Environment. It has played a significant role from time to time in saving the ecosystems of India from destruction unleashed by short-sighted developmental policies of the Government of India. A few earth cognizant attorneys, residents, natural gatherings and nongovernment associations have met the challenge at hand and moved toward the legal executive in light of a legitimate concern for the general population.
