Abstract
The train network has always resulted in the change of the global tourism business. Regional tourism can also contribute significantly to the overall expansion of national tourism. This study paper investigates the influence of Vistadome coaches on tourism in Haflong and other picturesque hill locations in Assam, India. The research focuses on how a single train with only two carriages brought about a significant transformation in Haflong's economy. The research examines the influence of railways on tourism, job prospects, and the establishment of informal sectors in Haflong over a short period.
