Abstract

The current research paper is penned down with an endeavor to break down the situation with women in India, and also of ladies from various worldwide circles, by utilizing different secondary sources. The examination uncovers that women of India are generally not efficiently empowered and a lot of changes are still needed to be brought in, in order to bring gender equality to the society. In order to curb the gap between the genders, various issues that women face are being discussed in this research paper. The issue of domestic violence, education, heath & hygiene, legal awareness, lesbian relationships, sexual workers traficking problems, and various other aspects are being discussed. The research paper gets enclosed with the carved out suggestion that spreading legal awareness and educating the masses, especially the female masses, to recognise their rights and to fight for the same is the ultimate solution to bring in gender equality.
