Abstract

Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) has emerged as a critical component of sustainable development, requiring corporations to integrate environmental concerns into their business operations and decision-making processes. In India, a rapidly industrializing economy with diverse environmental challenges, the legal framework governing CER plays a pivotal role in mitigating environmental degradation and promoting sustainable practices. This research paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal framework and regulatory challenges surrounding Corporate Environmental Responsibility in India.
