About the Journal

A platform for multidisciplinary scholarship in Law, Management & Humanities

The International Journal of Law Management & Humanities [ISSN 2581-5369] is an online, bi-monthly, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal. Founded in January 2018 and published by VidhiAagaz, it is certified ISO 9001:2015 and carries a recognised Impact Factor of 7.010 (2026), calculated by I2OR.

IJLMH was founded with a deliberate institutional purpose: to create a rigorous, fully indexed, open-access platform where scholars from across the world - whether a student, a practising advocate, a sitting magistrate, or a university dean - could contribute to the growth of legal and interdisciplinary scholarship on equal terms.

The Journal was India's first privately run law journal to be indexed in HeinOnline, making its publications discoverable and accessible to researchers at 1000+ libraries, universities, government institutions, courts, and organizations around the world. It was also the first Indian private law journal to assign a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) free of charge to every published manuscript via DOIJ. Plagiarism screening is conducted using Turnitin and Drillbit, without submission to the repository.

Today, in its ninth year of continuous publication, IJLMH has received submissions from authors in 56 countries — including published authors who are Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record, High Court Judges, Vice-Chancellors, Deans, Professors, Practitioners and Students.

From the Founding Editor

A word from the Chairperson

When IJLMH was founded in January 2018, the Indian legal publishing landscape offered limited pathways for independent scholars, students, and practitioners to disseminate their research in a credentialled, globally accessible format. The journal was founded to change that.

Eight years and ninth volume ongoing, IJLMH has published scholarship from 56 countries, received citations in the High Courts of India, and been catalogued in 1000+ of the world's most prestigious libraries, universities, government institutions, courts, and organizations around the world. We remain committed to the founding principle: that quality scholarship deserves a platform regardless of the institutional rank or geographic origin of its author.

We are grateful to every author, reviewer, editor and reader who has been part of this journey. IJLMH is, above all, a community and it grows stronger with each issue.

Message from the Chairperson

“The founding conviction behind IJLMH was simple: every piece of original, rigorous scholarship deserves a platform — and that platform should be open, indexed, credentialled, and free at the point of submission. We built IJLMH to be that platform for law, management and the humanities, and we remain committed to that mission in our ninth year and beyond.”
