Outer Space Debris: An International Obligation to Mitigate and Control

Abstract

This research paper will attempt to analyze the causes of space pollution, the international measures and obligations of States to reduce this situation, and what can be an effective control mechanism in this situation. Various Government and non-Government organizations are discussed those are trying to mitigate space debris are ICAD, UN guidelines, ESA, and others they all making efforts towards preserving space and controlling space pollutants.
