An Analysis of Foreign Direct Investment: With special reference to Home and Foreign Countries
This article enumerates the pivotal role played by the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), an investment that connects the economies of developed and developing countries. Further through various case studies, regulatory agencies, political impact, and cultural differences, this paper discusses how FDI is a strategic investment in investing countries (home country) and the host countries (foreign countries), enumerating the factors involved in such investments. The study helps to analyse the benefits to the home country such as employment opportunities, economic development, and infrastructural diversification. By addressing the challenges and political influences in such investment, this paper provides valuable insight into the nature of FDI and global economic trade patterns.
