Abstract
The geopolitical interests of nations holding proscription power in the Security Council are the main content of this exploration study, which explores the United Nations Organisation's part in preventing conflict. Through a variety of case studies, the paper highlights both triumphs and failures in furnishing a logical picture of the United Nations Organisation's functioning, structure, and war forestallment styles. The study also explores the use of proscription power historically and its goods, assessing the United Nations Organisation's successes and failings in conserving world peace and security. Incipiently, it suggests changes to ameliorate the UN's capacity to forestall conflict.
