Abstract

Intellectual property refers to intangible creations of the human intellect. It refers to intellectual creativity of a creator. This article discus various types of intellectual rights like, patent, copyright, trademarks, trade secret, industrial design, geographical indications and how we know it today. It provides rules for securing and enforcing legal right to design, invention, and artistic works. The basic aim of IPR is to help in meeting challenges for the development of the society.
