Abstract

The phrase "Supreme Court Collegium" is commonly used while reading or debating about the Supreme Court (SC). One of the main pillars of the Indian court today is this system, despite the fact that most individuals are unaware of it and the ruling class is strongly opposed to it. Understanding the three-judge case and how it affects the current collegium system judgment is the main goal of this research study. For the current doctrinal research project, we discussed the history and evolution of judicial nominations as well as how they have changed through time as a result of key revisions to the Indian Constitution. We then came to a conclusion with a reasonable critique.
