The impact of cybercrime can be significant, both in terms of financial losses and damage to reputations. Preventing cybercrime requires a combination of technological solutions, such as firewalls and antivirus software, and effective cyber security policies and procedures. This includes educating individuals about the risks of cybercrime and how to protect themselves, as well as implementing strong password policies, regular software updates, and data backup protocols.
