It explores the regulatory landscape governing India's maritime sector, examining the impact of maritime laws on the insurance and reinsurance industry. Additionally, the paper investigates the geopolitical dynamics within India's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and identifies loopholes in existing maritime laws.
