Abstract

The art and praxis of environment sustainability combine creative expression and practical action to promote ecological, social responsibility. Through innovative design, storytelling, and community engagement, artists and practitioners can inspire individuals to adopt sustainable lifestyles, advocate for environmental policies, and develop innovative solutions to mitigate climate change. the art and praxis of environment sustainability can foster a sense of collective responsibility and empower individuals to take action towards a more sustainable future. This research primarily focuses on installation art and performance art practices related to Subodh Kerker's conceptual art piece Fishermen and Ocean. The ocean has always inspired artist because of its exceptional aesthetic features and its profound impact on the evolution of human civilization. These art pieces raised awareness of environmental sustainability.
