The advent of electric vehicles is a boon to the developing countries like India, they are expected to show a positive inclination towards this technology and the same was expected by the government also but there is a gap between the expectation and reality which is caused due to the difference in expected and formed perception of Indians towards electric vehicles. It is concluded by the researcher that the manufacturers need to work on R&D to improves the impact of range, cost, looks, branding communication and news to make the relation positive hence create a positive perception about electric vehicles in Indian market.
