Green entrepreneurship involves the creation and management of enterprises that prioritize ecological sustainability alongside the pursuit of financial prosperity. Within India, a country grappling with substantial environmental issues stemming from rapid industrial growth and population expansion, the concept of green entrepreneurship has emerged as a strategy to tackle these challenges while also fostering economic advancement. The Northeastern states of India are currently witnessing a noteworthy rise in green entrepreneurship and sustainable innovative projects, indicating a growing commitment to both economic progress and environmental conservation in the region. It is crucial to comprehend the underlying factors driving this trend to cultivate and bolster green entrepreneurial endeavours effectively. The findings of the study offer valuable insights for policymakers, development agencies, and business leaders seeking to endorse environmentally conscious enterprises that prioritize both economic development and environmental preservation in this environmentally critical area. Ultimately, the research advocates for an inclusive and sustainable approach to entrepreneurship, presenting a potential blueprint for other regions grappling with similar obstacles.
