Abstract

This research paper studies the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility and what is its position in India as a legal obligation and explains the Indian Corporate-Legal provisions on CSR in India. The findings of the research paper explain the basic concept of CSR suggests that CSR activities in India have a well-defined scope which are needed to be fulfilled while at the same time adhering to other rules needed to be followed while conducting such activities. Moreover, the findings also comments on the future scope of CSR in India. The findings of this research paper can be used for increasing awareness as well as for educational purposes.
