Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive review of the advantages of concept mapping in English language teaching (ELT). Concept Mapping is a powerful instructional tool that promotes meaningful learning and facilitates the development of critical thinking skills. This review explores the benefits of concept mapping in various aspects of ELT, including vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, writing skills, and language production. Additionally, it discusses the pedagogical implications and offers practical suggestions for implementing concept mapping strategies in the language classroom. Overall, this review highlights the significant advantages of concept mapping as an effective approach to enhance English language learning outcomes.
