Abstract
Election in India is not a passage of ritual that the country has to go through rather it is one of the grandest festivals which celebrates the essence of democracy. Like festivals are held with considerable preparation and time at hand, so is the Indian elections. The remarkable thing about this is the fact that people all over India, whatever may be the caste, sex, gender align together for a common objective i.e. to be represented and governed by the elected candidates.
